Who can tell me what you chose your Hebrew name to be? Why?

Mine is Batya. Batya (also spelled Bathya) is the name of Pharaoh's daughter in the Book of Exodus. In Hebrew, Batya means, "daughter of G-d."

The Torah teaches us that because she went with so few women to bathe at the Nile River, she was very against her father's ways and wanted to convert to Judaism. When she saw the baby in the river and said, "This must be a Hebrew child!" and did not have him killed, she was truly a daughter of G-d at heart.
